Wren School runs live online science classes for kindergarten to grade 12 in groups of 2, 4 or 8. Classes meet twice a week for 50 minutes with a background-checked tutor in the US or Canada. Younger children run simple experiments with things from home; older students work with data, models and problem sets. Plans start at $399 a month, and the first class is free.

Questions about online science classes
How do online science classes work without a lab?
Younger children use safe household materials such as water, salt, paper and magnets, with an adult nearby. Older students also use simulations and real data sets. Tutors demonstrate anything that needs equipment.
What grades do your online science classes cover?
Kindergarten through grade 12, in four bands: K–2, 3–5, 6–8 and 9–12. High school students get support in biology, chemistry and physics.
Are the science classes live?
Yes. Every class is live with a tutor and a few classmates at the same level. There are no pre-recorded lessons.
How much do online science classes cost?
